Some of Lyn's career highlights and skills in various projects are shown below. Lyn has worked across a number of industries including banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, public utilities and transport. Lyn has worked in many capacities from team member to project manager. Lyn is proficient in a wide variety of software, across various development platforms and IT environments. She has developed both online and paper-based documentation, training materials of all kinds, user manuals, proposals, reports and functional specifications.
Project Management - Lantau and Airport Railway project, Mass Transit Railway Corporation, Hong Kong
During 1996 - 1997 Lyn managed a bi-lingual team of 15 developers and railway experts to develop the operating manuals and training for the Lantau and Airport Railway.
Training Management - RAMS Home Loans, Sydney
In 2005 Lyn designed and managed the implementation of training for a new business process and new computer system for mortgage originators at RAMS, including the delivery of system training and the development of credit training materials.
Business Analysis and Testing - Optus IP Centrex project, Sydney
During 2004, Lyn completed user acceptance testing for the IP Centrex voice telephony features and telephone equipment. She was instrumental in developing recommendations on feature integrity, activation methods, codes, useability and packaging. She also worked closely with the technical team to develop a comprehensive telephony features guide and customer-facing user guides for various models of the IP Centrex telephones.
Systems Useability Analysis - Energy Australia, Sydney
In 2001, Lyn reviewed the functionality of a number of computer systems, recommending changes to interfaces, functionality and the merging of systems for Energy Australia.
Systems Testing - QBE Workflow project, Sydney
In 2003, Lyn extensively tested the Workflow system and reported software bugs and inconsistencies as well as completing a user reference manual for the system.
Training Needs Analysis for SAP - United Energy, Melbourne
In 1997, Lyn completed an analysis of training needs and recommended training solutions to redress the gaps for various business groups at United Energy following the implementation of SAP.
Change Management - Westpac Siebel CRM project
In 2001 - 2002, Lyn worked with the Accenture team at Westpac implementing Siebel CRM to various parts of the bank, particularly focussing on tailoring the training for specific needs and project communication.
Instructor-led Training Materials Development - Westpac, Sydney
In 2001 - 2002, Lyn developed a suite of instructor-led, paper-based training materials for the various systems and pieces of equipment used by Westpac Call Centre staff.
Self-paced Training Materials Development - Energy Australia, Sydney
In 2003, Lyn developed a package of system reference materials, self paced training exercises and packged this with a CD-based training version of the NAMS system for external contractors to learn to use the Energy Australia network asset management system.
On-line Training Materials Development - Optus, Sydney
In 2004, Lyn developed an interactive online training piece explaining the concepts of IP Centrex, Voice over IP, Virtual Private Networks and packet/circuit switching for Optus staff.
On-line Help Development - Energy Australia, Sydney
In 2000, Lyn developed an online help package for the Network Billing System for Energy Australia staff.
Training Video Scripting - QBE, Sydney
In 2003, Lyn developed a video script for a promotional video featuring the new Workflow system and its corporate benefits.

Along with the development of quality training materials, Lyn has developed comprehensive and detailed user reference materials for many projects and many clients including Energy Australia, Optus, RAMS Home Loans, Westpac, and QBE.
Training Delivery - various projects
Lyn has developed training materials and delivered training courses for a range of clients and products. Many of the training courses are systems related, such as Asset Management systems training for Energy Australia staff, or training on using the loan origination system for RAMS staff. Other training courses are related to business process changes or important information for staff, such as training on the asbestos recording system for Energy Australia staff. Lyn has also delivered train the trainer course for various clients.
